Plenty of ways to get protein without messing up your endocrine system. There are lots of things that are really bad for you, and soy isn’t one of them. Even IF it weren’t great for you, that doesn’t make it inherently bad. Feeding a kid tofu a few times isn’t going to hurt them. My daughter has spent 9 years consuming soy Buddha Yoga I’m mostly peace love and light a little go fuck yourself shirt (starting from soy based formula at birth) and is fine.
